Social Mentoring

Transforming the opportunities and expectations of success of young people
Mentoring becomes a social intervention tool to promote the relationship between people who voluntarily support others at risk of exclusion.

This relationship is motivated and tutored by a professional who supervises and supports it to ensure its viability.

Sapere Aude Project with Plataforma Educativa

Resilis Foundation developed a mentoring program that is still going on. The Sapere Aude Project is currently on its third Edition, it is a program created to accompany youngsters in foster care to improve their school results and their social integration.

In areas where the socioeducative resources are more scattered , the vulnerability and social exclusion of youngsters is more present.

The Arrela’t project was created to provide the youngsters with a socioeducative respone and to empower their community.

It’s a socioeducative action, based on volunteerism that has sport as its backbone.

Oraculi Project

Oraculi, a Latin word originating from %22mentor%22, gives traceability to the accompaniment service and instrumental and pre-work transitional training for young emigrants alone in the three phases of intervention that is carried out in the Primera Oportunitat resource: reception, Projecte Vital itinerary, and educational and work environment support. It does this through social mentoring to promote learning through sport and culture, valuing the resources of the territory, mobilizing them to facilitate the accompaniment and incorporation of the young person into their community of reference. It is promoted from the Adult Training Center managed by the Gentis Foundation in Terres de l’Ebre, a decentralized educational center (Deltebre, Amposta, Roquetes, La Sènia, Alcanar, Gandesa, and Móra d’Ebre) focused on the return to the education system or job placement and the improvement of transversal and emotional skills of young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who have suffered premature abandonment of their studies or school failure.
