Agenda 2030

Corporate Social Responsibility is a transversal concept that affects several areas of the entity’s management, so its activities must be linked to the entity’s basic activity, have a long-term vocation, and imply a commitment to the direction.

CSR has a multidimensional nature that affects several areas of management and embraces the 17 sustainable development goals (ODS) promoted by the United Nations and developed in 2015 with the creation of the new sustainable development agenda, the 2030 Agenda.

We align ourselves with these objectives and deploy them with the Strategic Plan where each of the entities works to achieve their action plans by bringing different contributions and actions each day.

ERADICATE POVERTY WORLDWIDE AND IN ALL ITS FORMS.

All the entities that form Plataforma Educativa have as their mission, vision, and values the improvement of the quality of life and the defense of the rights of people at risk of social exclusion with a community vision. From each of the services, projects, and centers of the entities developing different actions for attention with:

  • Development of the Person-Centered Care (ACP) system.
  • Defense and dissemination of Human Rights.
  • Development of participation as a tool for governance and work with the people served.
  • Transversal care for the groups: Childhood, Adolescence, young people in social exclusion, migrant youth without family references, short- and long-term unemployed people, families and their environment, people of Romani ethnicity, migrant people, and people with disabilities.
  • Visibility of previous groups and influence through alliances in social policies.
  • Awareness and communication.
Zero Hunger (#SDG2)
ENDING HUNGER, ACHIEVING FOOD SECURITY AND IMPROVING NUTRITION, PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE.

All the entities that form Plataforma Educativa have as their mission, vision, and values the improvement of the quality of life and the defense of the rights of people at risk of social exclusion with a community vision. From each of the services, projects, and centers of the entities developing different actions for attention with:

Good Health and Well-Being (#SDG3)
ENSURING HEALTHY LIVING AND PROMOTING WELL-BEING FOR ALL PEOPLE OF ALL AGES

Our mission, vision, and values are to improve the quality of life of socially excluded people, but we also emphasize the teams of professionals who work as the engine of our service project through:

  • Development of training actions for the emotional well-being of work teams: Work with Humor, Yoga, and Remote Professional well-being, among others.
  • As long as the service and the workplace allow it, work reconciliation to promote personal and professional well-being through teleworking and videoconference meetings.
  • Promotion of intravision actions to promote a good working and professional climate for our work team.
  • Recognition of work teams, promoting projects, and developing interviews to communicate internally and externally.
  • Being part of the Time Reform Network and developing dissemination and awareness about good work habits.
  • Awareness and communication of health and healthy eating habits, especially in residential services.
  • Looking after the physical and emotional well-being of the people we serve.
  • Development of projects related to health, rights, and well-being, such as the Igu@lments and AmbientalMents projects.
Quality Education (#SDG4)
ENSURING INCLUSIVE, EQUITABLE, AND QUALITY EDUCATION AND PROMOTING LIFELONG LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL.

Not only is the training of their work teams encouraged, but advocacy actions are developed in the areas of formal education and continuous training for groups of social exclusion.

  • Arrangement of an annual Training Plan adapted to the needs of the sector and of the working people.
  • Development of education and training projects focused on the young and adolescent group, and on people who are unemployed or in a situation of social exclusion.
  • Creation of our own Skills Dictionary for the development of transversal skills with the groups we serve.
  • Deployment of online training for internal or external training.
  • Adaptation of some trainings in timetables that facilitate fairness in attendance and personal conciliation.
  • Openness to the training of students (internal and external) through practical action in our facilities through the management of practices with HR.
  • Development of projects for education in Rights, Equality, and the Environment with the Igu@lments and AmbientalMents projects.
  • Design of training projects for entities, companies, and administrations.
  • Awareness and communication of ethical values.
Gender Equality (#SDG5)
ACHIEVING GENDER EQUALITY AND EMPOWERING ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS.

The entities that constitute Plataforma Educativa consider themselves PROUDLY DIVERSE. These include Diversity as the backbone of its actions. For this reason, its policy includes equal opportunities between all genders and the right to non-discrimination and freedom as principles that underpin the organization and performance of the entities that are members of it. All the entities work to incorporate the gender perspective in a transversal way as a key element in the operation of all their services, actions, and projects including the global view of the entity and the working people, and the specific view of the projects and the people served.

  • Creation and monitoring of the Equality Commission and Equality Agent Profile.
  • Gender perspective training for professional teams.
  • Creation and Visibility of the Non-Sexist Language Guide and related materials.
  • Empowerment projects for women at a personal, training, and work level.
  • Design of projects with a gender perspective for entities, companies, and administrations.
  • Awareness and communication of the gender perspective, especially through the Igu@lments project.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the objectives of the Equality Plan.
  • Provision of the Sexual Harassment Protocol and of the referring person.
Clean Water and Sanitation
ENSURING THE AVAILABILITY AND SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF WATER AND SANITATION FOR EVERYONE.

  • Awareness and communication of healthy habits and hygiene, especially in those residential services.
  • Looking after the physical and emotional well-being of the people we serve.
  • Development of projects related to Health, Well-being, and the efficient management and consumption of water such as the AmbientalMents project.
Affordable and Clean Energy (#SDG7)
GUARANTEEING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE, SAFE, SUSTAINABLE, AND MODERN ENERGY FOR ALL PEOPLE.

All the entities that form Plataforma Educativa are governed in their strategic plan by the commitment to the environment as the maximum expression of respect for our future generations, which is why the preservation of the environment is a basic principle of all our actions, according to environmental management policies and systems, and promoting awareness and the promotion of sustainable energy.

  • Promotion of sustainable projects and social transformation for entities, companies, and administrations.
  • Awareness and communication in campaigns and good environmental practices.
  • Development of online training and meetings via video conference to avoid staff displacement and save paper.

Our mission, vision and values are to improve the quality of life of socially excluded people, but we also emphasize the teams of professionals who work as the engine of our project:

  • Working to guarantee the viability of services, projects, and organizations.
  • Acting to equate the recognition of our teams of professionals in the social sector with the public sector and with the defense of professional spaces.
  • The provision of Labor Agreements in some of the entities as an improvement of the collective agreement.
  • Hiring young people, people from social exclusion, and people with disabilities, encouraging as much as possible the promotion of continuous hiring.
  • Working for the continuous improvement of work placement projects directly or indirectly in a transversal way.
  • Promotion of intravision actions to promote a good working and professional climate for our work team.
  • Giving recognition to work teams, promoting projects, and developing interviews to communicate internally and externally.

PROMOTING PEACEFUL AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETIES TO ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, PROVIDING ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOR ALL PEOPLE, AND DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE, ACCOUNTABLE, AND INCLUSIVE INSTITUTIONS AT ALL LEVELS.

The entities that form Plataforma Educativa consider themselves PROUDLY DIVERSE. These include Diversity as the backbone of its actions. For this reason, the organization’s policy includes equal opportunities between all genders and the right to non-discrimination and freedom as principles that underpin the organization and performance of the organizations that are members. . Values are part of our identity. These values are born from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations.

They are common to all cultures and with sufficient force to be transmitted through the team of professionals that make up the Educational Platform and each of the entities that are part of it, attending to and helping to grow children, youth, people with disabilities, and other people in a situation of social exclusion so that they become responsible, free, participative, and autonomous in the society in which we live.

No discrimination based on national, social, or ethnic origin, gender, language, religion, opinion, sexual orientation, age, or other conditions will be accepted or allowed. Any act, omission, or manifestation, physical or mental, by any means that compromise the psychological, physical or moral integrity of any person, will be rejected and prosecuted, as well as manifestations of physical or mental harassment, moral or abuse of authority, as well as any other conduct that may generate an intimidating or offensive environment with people’s rights.

Des de l’EASPD hem participat en un taller formatiu per donar suport al desenvolupament d’una plataforma per la fomació online des d’angles inclusius anomenada ADILE i així contribuir al disseny d’un marc europeu comú en matèria de competències digitals per a les persones amb discapacitat, tanta a nivell de continguts digitals com l’espai virtual de formació. El projecte està liderat per l’EASPD, Predif, Controverto, Base3, I&F i SEDA.
